Business Angel of the year

Every year BAND prices “The German Angel of the Year”. The price called “Goldene Nase” (golden nose) will be awarded to the Business Angel, who has had the right instinct – in the truest sense of the word – in selecting his investments. Business Angels who are supporting their portfolio companies, especially through their own network and know-how, helping them even in a crisis or have had an excellent exit, have the best chance to get the award. Only start-ups can recommend “their” Business Angel for the award. BAND wants to motivate entrepreneurial experienced individuals to be active as Business Angel and to provide capital and know-how to young and growing companies. The “Business Angel of the Year” is selected by a jury consisting of top-class experts in the informal venture capital market.
