Susanne Porsche comes from the film and TV industry, in which she has been active as an independent producer since 1983. She has founded several production companies, including MPS mediaproductions in 1990 and summerset GmbH in 2007. In 2010, she took over Neue Münchner Fernsehproduktion.
In addition to her work as a film and television producer, the recipient of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany invests in start-ups as a business angel through SP Beteiligungs GmbH and is an active member of Angelgate, an internationally active business angel club. Her investments – currently 25 in total – are widely diversified.
Of particular note are her investments in Pflegebox and Auticon GmbH. This is an IT consulting company that exclusively employs autistic people as consultants and thus uses the special skills of this group of people for demanding IT projects.
