Bislang gibt es nur sehr wenige Studien über Angel Investing in europäischen Märkten. Es gibt noch keinen vollständigen Überblick über alle Studien und Forschungsergebnisse in dieser sehr kleinen Forschungsnische und der Kreis der der Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler, die diese Assetklasse erforschen, ist relativ überschaubar. Der Austausch von Informationen auf europäischer Ebene muss gefördert werden. Dazu erforderlich sind eine kontinuierliche Erforschung sowie eine Dokumentation der Ergebnisse, um mehr Transparenz in diesem informellen Markt zu schaffen – im Interesse aller Beteiligten des Ökosystems.
Daher hat BAND nun den Dokumentationsband „Angel Investment Research in Europe – Documentation & Debate“ veröffentlicht. Dieser soll Ausgangspunkt sein für eine strukturierte Übersicht von Forschungsprojekten im Bereich Angel Investing in Europa und zur Diskussion anregen. Ziel ist es, diese Dokumentation zu einem Forum für eine kontinuierliche Debatte über Angel Research zu machen. Als sog. „living document“ soll es kontinuierlich erweitert werden um relevante Studien aus Europa. Aufgerufen sind alle Forschenden im Tätigkeitsfeld „Angel Investing“, am Dokumentationsband mitzuwirken.

BAND publishes first Europe-wide document on angel investing research
To date, very few studies have been conducted on angel investing in European markets. There is not yet a complete overview of all studies and research results in this still very small research niche. The community of angel investing researchers can be expanded and the exchange of information at European level must be promoted. Continuous research of this asset class and documentation of results are required to create more transparency in this informal market – in the interests of all those involved in the ecosystem.
This is why BAND has now published the documentation volume ‘Angel Investment Research in Europe – Documentation & Debate’. This is intended as a starting point for a structured overview of research projects in the field of angel investing in Europe and to stimulate discussion. The aim is to turn this documentation into a forum for an ongoing debate on angel research. As a so-called ‘living document’, it will be continuously expanded to include relevant studies from Europe. All researchers in the field of angel investing are invited to contribute to the documentation volume.
