Get in the Ring is the Olympics for Startups; a worldwide competition were startups face off against each other in one-on-one pitching battles.
This year, all GITR participants will need to survive two selection rounds to reach the International Final in the Netherlands. Through national selection rounds in over 64 countries, and finals in each region of the world, the 8 most promising startups will come together in Rotterdam on November 21st to compete in the International Final. Four Champion investors and an audience of business angels, VC’s, entrepreneurs and captains of industry, will decide which startup will win the title of World Champion, taking home the coveted championship belt – and hopefully an investment.
In 2014, the six winners of the region Western Europe will participate in the Regional Final in Dortmund, Germany on November 17th. The Regional Final ist organized by Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V. (BAND) and Die INITIALE. The participatig start-ups are as follows:
